About the Position

Do you want to work practically with IT and technology at companies – alongside your own business, studies, or retirement? We are now looking for a Field Service Technician for a flexible hourly position in Kiruna and surrounding areas. The workload is between 0-10% per month (varies over time).

This is a perfect role for you who want to stay technically active while having great freedom.

Your Main Responsibilities

As a Field Service Technician, you are an important part of the delivery to our customers. You are responsible for performing technical tasks on-site – from planned installations to troubleshooting and resolving incidents.

The work is primarily carried out independently at the customer’s site, where you plan and execute assignments according to given instructions. At the same time, you always have access to support from colleagues, project management, and service desk when needed.

The assignments vary in both scope and content and may include:

New store or office installations
Replacement and upgrading of equipment
Troubleshooting during operational disturbances
Emergency interventions as needed

You work with customers in retail, finance, and office environments, which means that no day is the same.

Examples of Tasks in the Role:

Installation and troubleshooting of cash register systems
Store installations (cash register, network, servers)
Installation and troubleshooting of PCs and servers
Installation and troubleshooting of network equipment (switches, access points, etc.)
Installation and troubleshooting of Microsoft Windows
Installation, replacement, and troubleshooting of hardware
Service, incident management, and IMAC tasks

Who Are You?

To be considered for this role, you need to have another main occupation, such as - your own business, studies, or being retired.

We are looking for someone with a technical interest who enjoys working independently at companies. You are responsible, solution-oriented, and service-minded, with a good ability to communicate and build trust in customer dialogue. You work in a structured manner, are flexible in your approach, and can collaborate easily when needed.

You communicate fluently in Swedish and English and have a B driver's license and access to your own car, as the work involves travel within Kiruna and surrounding areas.
